I am a higher education scholar-practitioner, a change agent for internationalization strategies, and an international student mobility specialist.

I believe that my career in education is more of a vocation than a professional path. I feel a sense of higher purpose that has pushed me to link my research and practice with current social issues and a better understanding of today’s complex world.

Having served as an administrator and having studied the tensions that organically exist in HEIs as organizations, I have developed the necessary critical skills that allow me to bring an always-needed perspective of balance between research and practice.
